Trip Clarity
Every trip card makes the basics obvious fast: where members are going, what they will do, what is handled, and why traveling through Adventure Unknown is different from booking alone.
Destinations, date ranges, and the style of trip are visible on each card.
Cards call out the anchor activities, from catamaran sailing and private tastings to hunting, fishing, cultural days, and guided excursions.
Members can see when lodging, meals, guides, transport, hosting, or planning support are part of the experience.
Members receive early access, smaller groups, and the chance to travel with people they want to know better.
How AU Travel Works
Trips are open to select non-members when space allows, but members receive the clearest advantage. They get first access, priority booking, and trip perks shaped around the Adventure Unknown community.
Some trips are domestic. Others are international. Itineraries range from focused long weekends to full week-plus adventures, all planned with the same level of care.
Johanna's travel agent access helps secure preferred accommodations, negotiated experiences, and upgrades when available.
Small groups of entrepreneurs, executives, creatives, leaders, and high performers who want the trip to be about more than the destination.
Planning, logistics, lodging, transportation details, local partners, and trip communication handled with a high-touch approach.
The group matters as much as the itinerary. Shared meals, hard-to-access experiences, and time away from routine create real connection.
Most trips are built for about 8 to 12 guests. That keeps the group close, protects the experience, and means popular trips can sell out or move to a waitlist quickly.
Why We Travel
Travel has always been at the heart of Adventure Unknown because it changes people in ways comfort never can. Long before the clubhouse existed, Scott and Johanna experienced firsthand how stepping outside your normal environment can completely shift your perspective on life, relationships, and what truly matters.
A trip to Africa became one of the defining moments behind Adventure Unknown. It was not just the landscapes or the wildlife. It was the feeling of being disconnected from routine and fully present with the people around them. The experience created deeper conversations, stronger relationships, and a new understanding of how powerful shared experiences can be.
That trip reinforced a belief they already felt growing: people become better, more open, and more connected when they experience the world together. Adventure Unknown was built around that idea.
Today, travel inside Adventure Unknown is not about vacations. It is about bringing together entrepreneurs, leaders, creatives, and growth-minded people in environments that challenge perspectives and create real connection. The goal is always the same: to create experiences that leave people changed long after they return home.

Member Stories
“I'm Jim Avery and I'm one of the founding members of Adventure Unknown. I've been here from day one. I've been on a couple of trips, and one of the best was the British Virgin Islands. I had never been to the BVI before. We were on a catamaran with four other couples and got to explore multiple islands together. The best part was I didn't have to plan anything. I just paid and showed up and everything else was handled. Meals, transportation, activities, literally everything was coordinated for us. If you like to travel, or even if you're newer to traveling, this is honestly one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to do it.”

“We absolutely loved our catamaran experience with Adventure Unknown. This was our first trip with AU but certainly won't be our last. If you have a chance to enjoy this fantastic experience, take it without a second thought!”
